When Sarah’s mom, Carmella, reached out to me about photographing their family portraits at Hanalei Bay, I knew this would be a meaningful session, but I had no idea just how special it would become.

This is a family shoot that I did last October at Tunnels beach on Kaua'i, with this beautiful couple from Colorado. The Carter family is a sweet family of five, with three little boys. They were all outgoing, adventurous, and not afraid in any way to get a little wet and play around during this family photoshoot.
